Peace Foundation that has been leading its establishment activities for a long time launched its first study ‘The Peace Process from Dolmabahçe to Present-Day: Understanding Failure and Finding New Paths’ at Neva Palas Hotel, Ankara. The report was prepared by. Cuma Çiçek from Mardin Artuklu University and Vahap Coşkun from Dicle University.
The report consists of headlines on why did the 2013-2015 peace process ended with failure, the path with no winners, stalemate of the state, stalemate of PKK and conclusion with policy recommendations.
The press statement was attended more than 100 people that came from civil society and political parties.
The opening speech was led by Hakan Tahmaz, General Secretary of the Peace Foundation with the moderation of Levent Korkut one of the directors of the foundation and lecturer at Medipol University. Fatma Ünsal, lecturer at Muş University, Aksu Bora lecturer at Hacettepe University and Işıkhan Güler lecturer at Middle Eastern Technical University shared their opinions on the report.
